New Life Mission

A Faith Based Social Community

A Short History

New Life Mission (NLM) has been providing outreach and poverty relief services in Kamloops since 1980. Its first facility was an old warehouse across the tracks in the downtown core at 260 Johnston Lane.

NLM's mandate is to bring hope to the hungry, hurting and homeless through showing the love of God through word and deed.

NLM is a faith-based non-profit social service community which operates a variety of programs in five locations, and receives funding and assistance from many different sources locally and in the surrounding area.

NLM's work involves ministering to the whole person which includes the spiritual, physical, emotional, and social needs of the individual.
